I love this so much.
I doodled this on paper first, then traced it with the tablet, then I traced THAT for the lines. also, the watercolor tool is the best thing ever I played around with TONS of new stuff on this, I've discovered that the watercolor tool in SAI is amazing, and makes hair awesome. I tried some refraction from the scarf, which is hardly noticable. I also tried a little bit of distance-fogging, though there isn't really much depth in the first place, and I don't think it works all that well with the lineart. The shading I am very satisfied with, and I used a little bit of lighting effects with gradients in photoshop. I considered just removing the lineart all together and making a lineless painting type, but that would need ALOT of editing and touching up, and I'm satisfied as it is.
